[{"data":1,"prerenderedAt":38},["ShallowReactive",2],{"reader-17-2772":3},{"cid":4,"surahName":5,"title":6,"blocks":7,"range":30,"prev":31,"next":35},17,"Al-Isra","To Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names",[8,10,13,16,18,20,22,24,26,28],{"kind":9,"text":6},"title",{"kind":11,"text":12},"translation","Allah says:",{"kind":14,"text":15},"quran","﴿ قُلِ ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":17},"(Say) O Muhammad, to these idolaters who deny that Allah possesses the attribute of mercy and refuse to call Him Ar-Rahman,",{"kind":14,"text":19},"﴿ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنَ‌ۖ أَيًّ۬ا مَّا تَدۡعُواْ فَلَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ‌ۚ ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":21},"(\"Invoke Allah or invoke Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious), by whatever name you invoke Him (it is the same), for to Him belong the Best Names.) meaning, there is no difference between calling on Him as Allah or calling on Him as Ar-Rahman, because He has the Most Beautiful Names, as He says:",{"kind":14,"text":23},"﴿ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ‌ۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ‌ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":25},"(He is Allah, beside Whom none has the right to be worshipped but He the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.) (59:22) Until His saying;",{"kind":14,"text":27},"﴿ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ‌ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":29},"(To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him.) (59:24) Makhul reported that one of the idolaters heard the Prophet saying when he was prostrating: \"O Most Gracious, O Most Merciful.'' The idolater said, he claims to pray to One, but he is praying to two! Then Allah revealed this Ayah.
