When one is ill, he is allowed to remain behind and will have a valid excuse to do so, until his illness ends. Allah the Exalted and Most honored then said, while ordaining joining the Jihad and obeying Allah and His Messenger ,",{"kind":14,"text":15},"quran","﴿ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۥ يُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتٍ۬ تَجۡرِى مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡہَـٰرُ‌ۖ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":17},"(And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and whosoever turns back,) from joining the Jihad and busies himself in his livelihood,",{"kind":14,"text":19},"﴿ يُعَذِّبۡهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمً۬ا ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":21},"(He will punish him with a painful torment.) in this life with humiliation and in the Hereafter with the Fire. Allah the Exalted has the best knowledge.",{"kind":14,"text":23},"﴿ لَّقَدۡ رَضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ إِذۡ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحۡتَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِى قُلُوبِہِمۡ فَأَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ عَلَيۡہِمۡ وَأَثَـٰبَهُمۡ فَتۡحً۬ا قَرِيبً۬ا • وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً۬ يَأۡخُذُونَہَا‌ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمً۬ا ﴾",{"kind":11,"text":25},"(18. Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave the pledge to you under the tree, He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down As-Sakinah upon them, and He rewarded them with a near victory. ) (19.
